POSITION : Learning Support Assistant
CONTRACT TYPE : Part Time, 30 hours 25 mins per week, term time only

SALARY : £11,896 (paid for 43.1 weeks per annum)

We require a Learning Support Assistant to provide general support to our SENCO in the management of individual and groups of children in the classroom. We are looking for a caring individual who will, amongst other duties, support and supervise pupils in lessons (under the direction of the class teacher). Experience and/or qualification in the English curriculum would be an advantage. You must have good numeracy and literacy skills and have experience of working with or caring for children between the ages of 11 and 18. To have completed the DFE Teacher Assistant Induction programme would also be an advantage. This post would be particularly suitable for anyone who might be interested in joining the teaching profession
